The joint mission of the New Life Volunteering Society (NLVS) Free Health Clinic and the Indian American Medical Association (IL) Charitable Foundation Free Health Clinic (IAMACF) is to serve the uninsured and underserved through primary health care, promoting health education, and holding community service events.

As of 2014, 13% were still uninsured in the state of Illinois. In 2014, the clinic served patients from 63 different zip codes in and around the Chicago area. This amounted to 2,557 patient visits and 1,073 labs. Of those patients, 450 of them were over 60 years of age. Approximately 700 take metformin for diabetes and 440 of them have hypertension.

The clinic projects it will log around 3,000 patient visits by the end of 2015.
