2010 Philanthropist of the Year

The Philanthropist of the Year is awarded each year to individuals who exemplify the spirit of philanthropy through financial, leadership and volunteer support of Family Medicine philanthropic efforts. These individuals encourage philanthropy in others and serve as inspiring role models.

2010 Philanthropist of the Year

The 2010 Philanthropist of the Year Award was presented to Dr. Jerry and Susan Rogers of Moorhead, Minnesota. The Rogers have a deep commitment to the AAFP Foundation. Dr. Rogers is a Past President of the Foundation and served many years on the Foundation's Board of Trustees. In addition, the Rogers have traveled with the Physicians With Heart delegation to Tajikistan and supported many of the Foundation's other programs as well as efforts at the chapter and community level.
