Practice Based Research Network (PBRN) Stimulation Grants

Research Committee Announces New Maximum Award Amount

Effective as of the second cycle of 2009, this program provides $7,500 per project to support research conducted by family physicians affiliated or associated with a PBRN in Family Medicine. Applications for studies with lower costs are also welcome.

PBRN Stimulation Grant applications are accepted twice a year:

September 1
March 1

Special Notice: The Research Committee especially encourages submission of proposals on topics applicable to the Patient Centered Medical Home. The PCMH has been selected as a priority topic for research in 2010 and the first cycle of 2011.
