Resident Research Grant Awards
October 16, 2009 - Resident Research Proposal Submission Deadline
Because the RC believes it is important for resident researchers to seek guidance from a local mentor with experience in Family Medicine research for the development of the protocol, the mentor will be required to sign the proposal along with the applicant.
November 30, 2009 - Notification of Grant Awards
All applicants will receive a letter announcing the RC's funding decision.
June 30, 2010 - Final Report Submission Deadline
Project reports will be submitted no later than June 30 and each Resident Research recipient will receive a scholarship to attend the 2010 Research Skills Seminar and National Conference to give a 10-minute presentation on his/her research project. Note: Resident Researchers who received a scholarship to the National Conference must complete and return a W-9 to the AAFP Foundation before a grant disbursement is made.
Best Paper Award
The Best Paper Award will recognize the best overall research project. All grant recipients' projects will be considered and an award will be presented to the individual whose proposal and final report show exemplary execution.
