Family Medicine Leads Scholarships for National Conference -- The AAFP Foundation provides scholarships for students and residents to attend National Conference.
Family Medicine Leads Emerging Leader Institute -- Helping to ensure the future of Family Medicine, Family Medicine Leads supports efforts to fill the workforce pipeline with the best and brightest new family physicians needed to improve the health of all people, and to support the development of future Family Medicine leaders.
Family Medicine Cares Resident Service Award -- This award was established to create an opportunity for Family Medicine Residents to fulfill a desire to address health disparities by tackling the health needs of the underserved in their local communities.
Family Medicine Interest Groups -- Exist at U.S. allopathic medical schools to enhance student interest in Family Medicine.
James G. Jones, MD Student Scholarship -- Learn about the James G. Jones, MD Student Scholararship to attend the Family Medicine Congressional Conference, held in Washington, D.C.
Resident Research Grants -- This grant program for residents funds short-term research projects that can be conducted and reported within a one-year time period.
AAFP Foundation Immunization Award Program -- These awards recognize Family Medicine Residency programs that have achieved high or improved immunization rates or are implementing a system to increase immunization rates, especially in medically underserved populations.
Student Externship Matching Grants -- Stimulate interest among medical students to select a career, and/or pursue research opportunities in Family Medicine.
