The AAFP Foundation would like to invite you to participate in the many exciting events that will occur during the AAFP Scientific Assembly in Denver. Listed below, you'll find the complete list of Foundation activities that will be held during Assembly with links for additional information.
All event proceeds benefit AAFP Foundation educational programs, scientific research and humanitarian initiatives.
Annual Recognition Dinner - September 30, 2010
The 2010 keynote speaker will be Leigh Anne Tuohy, the real-life mother in "The Blind Side". The Annual Recognition Dinner is open to donors who have generously given $500 or more between August 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010. The Dinner will be held at the historic Brown Palace Hotel and as a part of the evening we will announce the recipients of the Philanthropist of the Year Award, Outstanding Program Award and Outstanding Service Award.
Celebrity Reception and Book Signing - September 30, 2010
Join the Foundation for a private fundraising reception with Leigh Anne Tuohy prior to the Annual Recognition Dinner. This special event includes the opportunity to meet Mrs. Tuohy, take photos and receive an autographed copy of "The Blind Side" book. Reception tickets are $150 each and are limited to the first 100 reservations.
VIP Evening Featuring Denver Celebrity Chef Kevin Taylor - October 1, 2010
Spend an evening supporting the work of your AAFP Foundation and experiencing Denver's culinary and cultural excellence. Enjoy a chef-hosted dinner including action stations and wine pairings. After dinner, you and your guests will be escorted to your VIP seats to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra's Best of Beethoven. At the conclusion of the concert, you will be escorted back to the restaurant where you will enjoy a dessert and coffee soiree and have the opportunity to meet the symphony conductor. Benefit tickets are $250 each. Reservations for this event can be made as part of your Assembly registration and is limited to the first 150 reservations.

AAFP Foundation Silent Auction - September 27 - 29, 2010
During Congress of Delegates, bid on 40 unique items in the AAFP Foundation Booth. Bidding will close prior to noon on September 29th. Make sure to pick up a grab bag for $25.00!
