Scientific Assembly

The AAFP Foundation will host several exciting events during the 2013 AAFP Scientific Assembly in San Diego. A complete list of Foundation activities with additional information listed below. 

All event proceeds benefit the AAFP Foundation educational programs, scientific research, and humanitarian initiatives. 

The AAFP Foundation Annual Recognition Dinner will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at The US Grant Hotel. The 2013 Philanthropist of the Year and 2013 Outstanding Program Award will be announced at this event.

The AAFP Foundation will offer the 2013 Benefit Sweepstakes giving members the opportunity to win fabulous prizes at both the Congress of Delegates and Scientific Assembly while also supporting the mission of the AAFP Foundation. 

The 2013 auction will feature over 40 of our best items as part of a mini silent auction. Bidding will take place during the 2013 Congress of Delegates at the AAFP Headquarters hotel in San Diego from Sunday, September 22nd through Wednesday, September 25th. The proceeds benefit the AAFP Foundation's many philanthropic programs.

This year's VIP Benefit will be an unforgettable evening at Petco Park, home to the San Diego Padres. Guests will enjoy wonderful food, drink, private tours, and an evening of baseball history in the Western Metal Supply Co. Building, which hosts the Padres Hall of Fame.
