Your gift to the Annual Fund supports the ongoing work of the AAFP Foundation in humanitarian, scientific and educational initiatives to improve the health of all people.

Among the more than 20 hard-working and effective programs supported by the Annual Fund is Family Medicine Cares, which helps open new free health clinics in underserved areas across the country.

Needs your gift of $100 may meet:

• 12 bicycle helmets for an FMPC grant 
• School desk with two chairs for children as part of the Children’s Project 
• 100 bottles of Urine Test strips for a Family Medicine Cares grant clinic 
• Five ICU nurses to help screen for cases of infants with serious head injuries for a research study
  
  

Needs your gift of $250 may meet: 

• One procedural skills workshop hosted by an FMIG 
• Sewing machine for children to learn a trade as part of the Children's Project 
• One research assistant to help with informed consent for research study focus groups 
• One ER laceration tray and two exam capes for a Family Medicine Cares grant clinic

• 500 courses of treatment via a Ready Relief Box 
• One mannequin for the ALSO program 
• One medical student to help with a research study 
• A partial scholarship for one student or resident to attend National Conference

• Two students or residents to attend National Conference 
• One child and one parent to attend the Tar Wars National Conference 
• One principal investigator for a Research Stimulation Grant 
• Three laptops for an EHR system at a Family Medicine Cares grant clinic
