The Sandra Panther Fund

The Sandra L. Panther Fund was established in honor of the AAFP Foundation’s executive director, Sandra Panther. Sandy dedicated more than 20 years of service to the Foundation and continues to stay involved even after retirement. This fund will support the AAFP Foundation Resident and Student Initiatives which is used to support scholarships for Residents and Students to attend the AAFP’s National Conference.

"The intent of this fund is to provide scholarships to residents in need to help them get to Family Medicine meetings. I am following in my father's footsteps when he endowed a similar fund for engineering students.”
