Planned Giving & Legacy League

Combine your philanthropic goals with your financial and estate plans by participating in the Foundation’s Legacy League. Legacy League is the Foundation’s Planned Giving program. Planned gifts provide favorable tax benefits and may provide a lifetime income stream. There are several different types of planned gifts that you should consider as part of the AAFP Foundation Legacy League:

Legacy League -- Learn more about this program, which recognizes members and friends who are remembering the AAFP Foundation in their will, estate plan or other planned giving vehicle.
Bequest -- Discover how bequeathing personal assets can leave a legacy for the Foundation and Family Medicine.
Charitable Gift Annuity -- By establishing a charitable gift annuity, you transfer money or property to the Foundation in return for an annuity.
Charitable Remainder Trust -- Charitable remainder trusts transfer property, such as cash, securities or real estate, in trust to the AAFP Foundation.
Life Estate Contract or Retained Life Estate -- Discover how a Life Estate Contract can benefit both those you love and the AAFP Foundation.
Charitable Lead Trust -- A Charitable Lead Trust can provide income to the Foundation for a period of years.
Gifts of Life Insurance -- When the AAFP Foundation is named the owner of a life insurance policy, all contributions to the Foundation to pay premiums are fully tax deductible.
Pooled Income Fund -- Learn how to enjoy tax-abated income for the rest of your life through these professionally managed assets.
