Bequest

Bequeathing personal assets upon your death is an excellent way to leave a legacy for Family Medicine. Cash, securities or other assets are typical gifts you can make through a bequest in your will. Your bequest might designate a specific amount or a percentage of your estate. The value of the gift will be deducted from your estate prior to computing estate tax. If you are interested in making a bequest, you should consult with your attorney, accountant or other qualified professional for advice on estate and tax planning.

Please contact Brenda Cherpitel at (800) 274-2237, Ext. 4452 for more information regarding the AAFP Foundation Planned Giving opportunities.
