The Family Medicine Legacy League, the name of the Foundation’s Planned Giving program, was inaugurated in 1992 and recognizes members and friends who are remembering the AAFP Foundation in their wills, estate plans or other planned giving vehicles. This includes a Charitable Remainder Trust, Pooled Income Fund and Bequest to name just a few. Legacy gifts leave an indelible mark on Family Medicine by providing future funds to the AAFP Foundation.
Members of the Legacy League receive recognition in the Foundation’s Annual Report and well as a donor ribbon to wear on your name badge at Foundation and Academy events.
To become a part of the Legacy League:
- Designate the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation in your estate plan. Please contact your attorney or financial planner for more information.
- Use the AAFP Foundation tax ID # 44-6013671, if needed in your documents.
