Volunteer/Participate

Consider sharing your time and expertise by volunteering with the AAFP Foundation. Many opportunities are available for short and longer term commitments throughout the year. Whether you help with an event, evaluate grant applications, give a Tar Wars presentation, or work with physicians halfway around the world, the AAFP Foundation needs your involvement.

Board of Trustees -- The Board of Trustees is an important part of the Foundation! Find out who sits on the 19-member board.
Board of Curators -- The Board of Curators is an important part of the Center for the History of Family Medicine and advises the Foundation on planning and administration for this important program.
Research Committee -- The Research Committee is responsible for setting the criteria for all grants awarded by the Foundation.
CHFM Volunteer Opportunities -- Volunteers are needed to help staff of the AAFP Foundation's Center for the History of Family Medicine (CHFM), find out how you can help.
Family Medicine Philanthropic Consortium -- The Family Medicine Philanthropic Consortium (FMPC) is a collaborative program of the Foundation, constituent chapters and chapter foundations of the AAFP.
