2012 James G. Jones, MD, Student Scholarship

The AAFP Foundation administers the James G. Jones, MD, Student Scholarship Program. This program was created as a way for Dr. Jones to demonstrate his continuing commitment to the education of medical students.

The Annual Family Medicine Congressional Conference, which is sponsored jointly by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Council of Academic Family Medicine (CAFM), will be held May 14 - 15, 2012 in Washington, DC. Thanks to Dr. Jones' generosity we are pleased to announce that the AAFP Foundation will again award the James G. Jones Student Scholarship to a qualified student to attend the FMCC. This scholarship consists of the lowest coach fare roundtrip ticket to and from Washington DC, hotel accommodations for May 14 -15 and incidentals while the recipient is attending the conference.
