Humanitarian

The healing aspect of our profession is enhanced by acts of good works. Respect for people and commitment to their health and wellbeing take us outside our offices and into the world, where great need exists. Humanitarian initiatives allow us to reach together where we cannot always go alone.

Family Medicine Cares -- This major humanitarian program will help establish new free clinics to care for the uninsured in areas of need.

Disaster Relief -- Learn how the AAFP Foundation helps those who have been impacted by disaster, both nationally and internationally.

International Fund -- The International Fund serves global humanitarian needs and benefits international concerns related to Family Medicine.

AAFP Foundation Pfizer Immunization Award Program -- These awards recognize Family Medicine Residency programs that have achieved high or improved immunization rates in children or adults, or are implementing a system to increase immunization rates, especially in medically underserved populations.
