The Foundation assisted Dr. Herbert Emejulu in Fall 2008.
Dr. Emejulu practices in Port Arthur, Texas, an area hit by both Hurricane Rita in 2005 and again by Hurricane Ike in 2008. He used the Disaster Assistance funds to replace essential items in his practice, such as furniture and lab supplies. Dr. Emejulu was sponsored by the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.
