AAFP Staff Walk for the Children

Each year, the staff of the American Academy of Family Physicians takes a mile-long walk to raise funds for the Children's Project. We at the AAFP Foundation are very grateful for the outpouring of support shown by our staff!

2011

In 2011, staff in Kansas City and Washington, DC raised over $5,000 and brought in over 40 pairs of shoes for the Children's Project visit to Kyrgyzstan.

In addition to the much-needed shoes, the money raised will go toward the purchase of backpacks, sewing machines, refrigerator, a washing machine, baby quilts, art/school supplies, warm clothing, therapeutic toys, sports equipment and personal hygiene items.
