• The Family Medicine Philanthropic Consortium (FMPC) is a collaborative program of the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation and the Constituent Chapters and Chapter Foundations of the American Academy of Family Physicians. The Consortium is organized to improve the health care of all people.

    FMPC Grant Awards Program

    The FMPC administers a grant program and provides funding to support the philanthropic work of AAFP Chapters and Chapter Foundations.

    FMPC Steering Committee

    The FMPC is governed by Voting Representatives from each Chapter with an elected 11-member FMPC Steering Committee. The committee transacts business between the semi-annual meetings of the FMPC. The Steering Committee is responsible for(4 page PDF) recommending guidelines, policies, events and programs to the FMPC; recommending expenditures consistent with the policies of the AAFP Foundation; setting the agenda and planning the semi-annual FMPC meetings; and serving as reviewers for FMPC Grant Award submissions.
