The future for our specialty looks bright, thanks to the generous support of Foundation donors and the incredible talent in medical schools and residency programs around the country.
Hundreds of future family physicians will gather in Kansas City, Mo., Thursday, July 28, through Saturday, July 30, for the 2022 National Conference, where the Foundation will encourage attendees to “Take the Lead” and see their potential. With your support, our encouragement includes much-needed and greatly appreciated financial assistance; we’re providing 240 scholarships to help the medical students and residents attend the conference, network, and learn more about family medicine’s immense possibilities.
In addition, donor support strengthens the Family Medicine Leads Emerging Leader Institute (ELI). This year, we’re pleased to announce that the 30 remarkable scholars selected for the 2022 program are gathering in person at the conference to start their year of learning and growth.
With workshops, presentations, and more, the National Conference agenda is full; the students and residents will be busy! They’ll also have the chance to receive a very useful gift at the Foundation booth – a free professional headshot.
